So earlier ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) sidecar pimped this and I'm passing it onto the rest of you.
getyourwordsout is a comm closing on Jan 1st where you have an aim and write towards that aim. Like NaNo but for the entire year, and there's various levels of aim. That was a bad description.
Go forth and read the info etc, but remember, only pimp to flists not comms - they want to keep it on the down-low.

Help! I need somebody! Help! I have a character in an original fic that I need a name for...only a first name though, and it's annoying me... I have an rl friend working on this also, however, something mythical or goddessy or planty or a place even or Doctor Who-ey or anything really would help me...
Her surname is Trefusis so something that fits with that would be lovely... (It is indeed taken from Stephen's "The Liar") Character description might be along later, once I have a clearer idea - the name will help you see.
I'd give you a box-poll-thing to fill in but I want lots of ideas and am appealing to your kind natures in asking...I also want to see them as they come into my email rather than keep refreshing the poll response page.

So I was at home and didn't get my mail til today.
Lacy my dear, it is no probs for the book, it was a touch later than planned however :) Thanks for the card tho - I have yours and Cyn's, I just forgot to mail them when I was doing the others.

Posting Christmas cards on my way to work tonight, they should be with you by this time next week...or so the Post Office says, however if they're slightly late or get lost, it is entirely their fault again.
Also work tonight, it's The View playing a gig and then a DJ set by the Wasted Little DJ's, UK-ers may know who I'm talking about, The View are a Dundee based band who made it big here in the summer, and Wasted Little DJ's are their friends....I have been excited all week and only found out I'm doing the shift for definite today. SQUEEEEEEEE.

Pay It Forward: I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment here and ask for a gift.
I can't draw to save myself, my level is about the same as Peter Petrelli's...stick figures, and I'm not going to take any drugs and hang around Isaac in the hope that the magic powers make me able to draw. I can however write you a card as a character or go all out and make something properly...probably best if you give me a suggestion in your comment.
Anything I do make will be better if I can send it to you via snail mail, however if parents etc aren't cool with that I can take pics or scan it in, depending on what it is.
Whatever you do end up getting should be sent before Christmas, and all you have to do in return is "pay it forward" by making a similar agreement on your blog.
In other news the total of people asking for sex is up to 3, and I think I may have missed a 4th subtle attempt at it last night...
And since I want to confuse you and make you read through comments to see if the 3 gifts are gone yet I'm going to post something else for you all to comment upon.

SO OMG I JUST SAW THE LAST DOCTOR WHO IN THE SERIES!
I know, I'm like 10 days late. But I was in France and unsurprisingly they didn't show it.
For those of you who haven't yet seen it there is a spoiler cut. Cause I'm nice like that.
Oh and I'm home from hols also.

Just thought I should tell you all in case you think "who the hell is this on my flist?"
Also, my AIM and Y!M are likely to change soon also. Just to give you a heads up.
No more Y!M and AIM is now squaredotpolka - not using anything fairy related anymore.
